ONE is an interactive sculpture that explores partnership through sacred geometry. It can only be experienced in its full glory through communal effort.

The Philosophy

Two souls.
One sacred circle.

01 · The Inner Portal

The Sacred Mirror

At the heart of the installation stands a twelve-foot arch, a vertical portal of sacred geometry. This is the Sacred Mirror, representing the union itself. In sacred geometry, the number One is the Monad: the single point of origin, the only shape with no beginning and no end. To step through the portal is to perform a ritual of transition. Participants will have the opportunity to leave behind the old self and step into the next evolution of being.

02 · The Dual Mandalas

Two Whole Beings

Flanking the portal on each side are two merging mandala panels, representing two whole, complete individuals. We believe that partnership is not two halves becoming whole, but two whole beings, two full circles, who choose to come together to create something much more beautiful than either could on its own. These elements symbolize who we were, and who we are becoming, together.

03 · The Ten Pillars

The Community Container

The inner structure cannot and does not stand alone. Surrounding it stands a perimeter of ten glowing pillars. This is the Outer Circle. Each pillar represents both a foundational principle of partnership and, collectively, represent the community that surrounds, supports, and uplifts the partnership. When touched, each pillar engages a unique lighting sequence within the Inner Circle.

04 · The Voice Box

The Living Archive

We are collecting voices. We want parents. Friends. Strangers. Burners from around the world. People who have loved and lost and loved again. Every voice that shares their understanding of love and partnership makes ONE more whole.

The Climax

The Full Bloom

There is a moment the installation can produce only one way: when all ten pillars are held simultaneously by ten different people. One beat of darkness. Then, a full scale display of light and sound. A layered soundscape of voices will fill the air, the columns will glow, and the inner portal will be fully illuminated.

The interdependence is literal. A partnership only reaches its highest potential when it is held by the hands of its village. ONE can only be experienced in its full glory through communal effort.
